Pictures with Lisa

Shannon
We were the best of friends in high school, college, and the years that followed. We were together every Friday night and knew everything about each other. We danced together, laughed together and grew up together. I can honestly say that Lisa was one of the kindest people I have ever known. I never saw her angry and I don't remember an unkind word ever coming out of her mouth. She was quick to think of others and oh so fun to be friends with. I loved her and I will miss her so much. My prayers and thoughts go out to her family and may our Savior comfort them.

The Dance Club

Shannon Harper ZobristIt's no wonder Lisa Stoddard has touched so many lives... I add my small tribute to many previously written. She was a dear friend and one of the most influential people at a turning point in my life. We were roomates and quickly became best of friends. We had so much fun spending every minute we could together...decorating & splashing paint all over our different apartments, sharing clothes, taking spur of the moment trips, shopping at the swap meet, singing at the top of our lungs, having "beauty" night, being pet owners(and failing miserably), dancing, laughing, & many times staying up all night talking. Lisa had a strong testimony of the gospel and she lived it to the fullest every day. She was always kind, loving, compassionate, & caring to everyone she met. Troy...know that she loved you from the minute she met you. You were her world, and always made her so happy. I never minded being the 3rd wheel in your relationship! I am a better person for knowing Lisa and will be forever grateful our paths crossed so many years ago. I know her good works are continuing on in Heaven.

My heart breaks for Lisa Stoddard’s family. Lisa was an incredible woman who impacted so many lives. I was blessed to have the opportunity to dance for Lisa atUVU. I learned so much from Lisa on and off of the dance floor. She was such a fun, caring, and positive influence in my life. I will forever be grateful for you Lisa!

Through all the tears and the sadness I can't help but smile as I think about the impact Lisa Stoddard has had and will continue to have on my life. Lisa was the funniest, sweetest, most caring person I have ever met. I couldn't thank her enough for all of the love, support and laughter she has given me throughout my entire life. She made me believe in myself as a person and as a dancer, and for that, I couldn't thank her enough. Love you Lisa dawg. May angels lead you in! My thoughts and prayers are with the sweet Stoddard family at this time.. #danceforlisa

Until we meet again...

Hello BYU, UVSC and Dance Club almuni and friends.  I am saddened to even have have a page like this to celebrate the life of the wonderful Lisa Stoddard.  She was very influential to me in my college years and was a good friend, wonderful mother, dance teacher, choreographer and on and on.

If you could leave a comment with a memory or two or send me your favorite photo/video with you and Lisa to erin.prettyeasy@gmail.com I would like to put together something to send to her family.  She has touched many lives and I think they would enjoy seeing and reading about their wonderful daughter/wife/mother eventually.

Please leave your memories, etc. in the comments below.  Feel free to pass this along to anyone who would like to participate.

xoxo,
Erin
